But I do wonder what we’d know about ourselves if we knew, with anything more than guesses and flattering lies, what we’d die for.

(There’s only one I’m sure of.)

  1. There’s only one thing I can say FOR SURE that I would die for and that would be my son and my nieces. Other than that, there are other things I can say I would die for but honestly, it’s a lot easier to say than to do. I would like to think I would be willing to put myself out there for causes and people and beliefs but I’m also honest with myself. And if I’m willing to die for my son, more than likely, there aren’t many other things I would be willing to die for because when push comes to shove, I also, more than anything want to live for my son.
