Feeling lucky.

Standard

Every morning on my way to the train I pass the Mexican consulate and even at 6am there’s a line forming.

And it reminds me to be grateful for the accident of birth that gives me the right to live in the country I want to live in.

And I also pass a construction site, and the guys there remind me to be grateful for the accident of genetics that gave me my fantastic ass.

  1. I wonder if they camp out the night before? Because when I went to renew my Permanent Residency I got there at 6:00 and I barely got in that day. See they only see a certain amount of people/cases a day. In Fresno (where I went) it was 500 and I was number 497 at 6:00am! they sent everyone else after 500 home. They finally called my number at about 5:00 so YES. I sat around and waited that whole time. I couldn’t really go anywhere since I didn’t know my way around.

*What would be one of the songs on your ass’ soundtrack, by the way?
