I’m locked in an epic battle with UPS.

There appears to be some confusion about exactly the nature of the service we paid for.  They seem to think that “Next Day Delivery” is a service package that includes up to and possibly more than five days of babysitting it, lying about it’s location, driving it around parts of town I don’t live in, phone numbers that don’t work, MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF ATTITUDE including such lines as “what do you expect lady?  You want us to drive it to you?” (yes he really said that), and an attempt at delivery that only netted them letting the dog out of the BACK YARD to run loose through the streets.

I guess I didn’t read the fine print, ’cause I thought it meant, you know, delivery, within a day or so.

  1. UUUUGHGGGHHH! What a pain in the ass! I can’t stand when things like this happen and they give you attitude for something you paid for and that they did not come through with, or in this case, deliver, in a meanings.

    I’d demand them to refund my next day charge. That is if you can get someone who knows what the eff they are doing.

    What did you say when that guy said that? Because that is simply amazing. At that point, I would have assumed that I was on Hidden Camera or something.

    And then I asked him to pull up a record of the original transaction to see if we could clarify what exactly we were paying him to do.

    Sounds like something that happened to me with DHL. I paid for 2 day delivery. They got the address wrong. I and the vendor I bought item from called DHL 4 times to correct the address and each time the stupid lady wrote the same wrong address. After 2 weeks and much anger and I ended up picking it up myself. Jackasses delivery companies….
