I REALLY tried.

When my beta fish Pacific got a fin infection, I immediately, and carefully, dosed him with the appropriate meds.  The fin cleared up, but then I noticed that one of his sides was strangely bloated.

I googled and googled, but I couldn’t figure out what would cause this, and therefore, couldn’t find a reccomended medication.  So I just started trying different kinds, hoping something would work.

It got worse, and then on his other side I started to see the same thing, but lower down.  I think all those chemicals gave him cancer. 

By the end, he had white foam on his mouth.  I think I gave him Mad Cow disease.

My fish died of a combination of cancer and Mad Cow disease.

I’m so sad.  He was my favorite fish ever.
